We know that employees who are burned out are 260% more likely to quit, 23% more likely to visit an emergency room, and 63% more likely to take a sick day. Not only does feeling burned out wipe out joy, motivation, and productivity, at work, it can also impact an employee’s health and their relationships at home. Because this is an expensive problem to have, costing the organization about 34% of that employee’s salary, both employees and leaders are eager to win this well-being challenge. Although according to Gallup, 67% of workers are always or sometimes burned out, the good news is that burnout is preventable. While we can’t always control what happens or how much work there is to do, people can develop core inner skills to be more resilient and resourceful in times of high pressure.
In this course, Stella Grizont of WOOPAAH, will teach the science of burnout and how to help end it at your organization. The format of this workshop will be highly interactive and practical. You’ll learn tools that you can apply for yourself, your team, and transmit to the wider organization.
