About This Course

As we find ourselves to be facing unprecedented challenges that many have never seen before centering around equality, social unrest, and anti-racism protest, many find it difficult to understand the 'why' behind it all. An individual may feel at a loss to understand and how to effectively communicate their thoughts during these times. The introductory workshop "Workplace Diversity" will help participants understand what diversity is all about, and how they can help create a more diverse and inclusive world at work and at home. They will be instructed to use skills such as active listening to receive messages in a diverse population, employ effective questioning techniques, and communicate with strength.
