Leaders at any level of an organization have the ability to create a wellness-focused workplace culture. This course will help participants better understand the crucial role they play in the wellness of their team. This includes; leading with purpose, defining psychological safety in the application of collaborating, communicating, providing feedback, mentoring, evaluating, and conflict resolution. Participants will learn empathic leadership and relate both empathy and psychological safety to addressing and decreasing stigma around accessing support services. Leaders will also have the opportunity to understand the power of mindfulness in the workplace and the productivity it generates with their team.

• Discuss leading with purpose when monitoring and supervising a team/unit
• Define psychological safety
• Use purpose and psychological safety in the application of collaborating, communicating, providing feedback, mentoring, evaluating, and conflict resolution
• Relate psychological safety to addressing and decreasing stigma around accessing support services
